From silicon to cloud

We design the part of the product where a mistake cannot be fixed by a deployment: the firmware that ships with the board. Microcontroller choice, memory and power budgets, measurement-chain reliability, field-update strategy.

We also take over existing work: firmware that crashes in production, a measurement that drifts, a protocol that buckles under load.

Compliance is not bolted on at the end of a project; it is built alongside it. We structure the software lifecycle, classification, risk analysis and requirement → design → test traceability so that the file reflects the real product rather than an after-the-fact reconstruction.

We work with development teams, not beside them: the goal is a file you can defend in front of a notified body without turning engineering into document production.

The app is often the only place where users actually meet the product. For a connected device it also carries pairing, offline sync and recovery when the link drops — problems that get solved between the firmware and the screen, not inside either one.

We design and build these apps, from user journey to store release: native Swift or Java when the hardware demands it, Flutter when a shared codebase is enough, Angular or React for web interfaces and back-offices — including when the app is itself a medical device.

We build the software a service runs on: Java/Spring, Node.js, Python or PHP back-ends, documented APIs, integrations with the tools already in place, customer portals and back-offices. From a small business’s digital service to the platform behind a fleet of connected devices.

Once hardware is involved, a platform is no longer an app with sensors in front of it: it is an end-to-end chain in which every link has its own failure modes. We design that chain, weigh public cloud against self-hosting, and put authentication, monitoring and backup in place before the volume arrives.

The value of a language model in a business rarely lies in the model and almost always in the wiring: what data it sees, which tools it may call, what happens when it gets things wrong, and where its autonomy ends.

We build that wiring — authenticated MCP servers, n8n workflows, specialised agents — under a constant constraint on the confidentiality of the data involved.
